Description: In 2006, a large reforestation program was launched in Mali with the assistance of local representative, Mohamed Traore. Mohamed and his local NGO, Mali-Espoir, have been working with the program to assist rural communities throughout Mali to plant much needed trees to improve soil fertility, provide food and develop income generating activities.
