Description: Sugar Pines are the largest pines in the world, noted for their enormous cones and unique shape. Logging, fire suppression, and the non-invasive fungus, White Pine Blister Rust threaten these trees. This project aims to restore sugar pine by planting blister rust resistant seedlings around Lake Tahoe.
